St. Annes College Grammar School

During years Nine, Ten and Eleven pupils sit for the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) in whichever subjects the College and the parents, by agreement, wish them to be entered.

Additionally, pupils are entered for other appropriate external examinations. As well as providing useful qualifications, this helps to ensure that pupils face their GCSE having already become accustomed to the atmosphere of the examination room.

A good selection of Advanced level subjects is available, as well as specialised English examinations for non-native speakers, including Overseas students.

When possible, the College is willing to accept members of the general public as external candidates for both GCSE and Advanced level examinations.
