A Day in the Life

No two days at SACGS are exactly the same — but every day is designed to feel purposeful, balanced and enjoyable.

Inspired by Scandinavian approaches to education, our Junior School days combine strong academic learning with creativity, outdoor experiences and wellbeing.

A typical day might include:

• A calm and welcoming start, helping children feel settled and ready to learn
• Focused English and Mathematics lessons, building strong academic foundations
• Topic-based learning that connects subjects and encourages curiosity
• Woodland & Beach learning, outdoor exploration or gardening activities
• Specialist lessons such as Italian, Music, Art, PE or Computing
• Reading, discussion and opportunities for independent thinking
• Freshly prepared, home-cooked lunches shared together as a community
• Creative projects, performances or enrichment activities
• Time for reflection, wellbeing and personal development
• Clubs, outdoor play and opportunities to explore individual interests

Throughout the day, children are encouraged to question, collaborate, create and discover.
