Senior School Fees

Years 7–11

At SACGS, we provide a calm, structured and nurturing Senior School environment where pupils are known as individuals and supported to grow in confidence, independence and achievement.

Our fees reflect:

We aim to keep costs as transparent and manageable as possible for families.

 

🌳 School Fees

2025–2026

£3,750 per term (+ VAT)

2026–2027

£3,850 per term (+ VAT)

Fees include:

  • Core educational provision
  • Textbooks and exercise books
  • Access to the SACGS curriculum
  • Small class teaching
  • Pastoral care within standard provision

Fees may be paid:

  • Termly in advance
  • Or through an agreed monthly payment arrangement

 

🍽️ Lunch & Breakfast Provision

2025–2026

£4.75 per day

2026–2027

£5.00 per day

Includes:

  • Complimentary breakfast provision
  • Nutritious daily lunch
  • Supervised dining environment

A tuck shop is available at morning break for optional additional purchases at a small cost.

 

🚌 Transport

2025–2026

£1.85 per mile

2026–2027

£1.95 per mile

Where practicable, flexible door-to-door transport may be available and tailored to individual routes and family needs.

🌊 Pastoral Support Package (Optional)

£1,500 per term

An optional enhanced pastoral support package is available for pupils who may benefit from additional emotional, social or transitional support.

This provision is supplementary to standard school provision and may include:

  • Regular pastoral check-ins
  • Structured emotional support
  • Transition support and reassurance
  • Social communication support
  • Individual strategies to promote wellbeing and engagement
  • Additional liaison with families where appropriate

 

📘 External Examination Fees

£70 per subject

For pupils undertaking GCSE examinations.

This covers:

  • Examination entry fees
  • Administration costs
  • Examination organisation

All examination fees are communicated clearly in advance.

🌿 Learning, Enrichment & Educational Visits

As part of the SACGS experience, pupils benefit from a broad range of enrichment opportunities designed to support wellbeing, confidence and personal development.

This may include:

  • Woodland and Beach School opportunities
  • Off-site PE and Games provision
  • Curriculum-linked educational visits
  • Creative, cultural and outdoor learning experiences
  • Lunchtime clubs and enrichment activities
  • Duke of Edinburgh opportunities
  • Activity Week at the end of the academic year

 

Most standard enrichment opportunities are included within normal school provision.

Occasionally, a small additional cost may apply for specialist optional activities such as:

  • Horse riding
  • Dry-slope skiing
  • Specialist workshops or external providers

 

Any additional costs are communicated clearly in advance.

 

Activity Week

All pupils take part in a whole-school Activity Week at the end of the academic year.

Activities are designed to be:

  • Inclusive
  • Engaging
  • Educational
  • Confidence-building

 

A small, subsidised contribution may apply depending on activities selected.

 

Uniform

School uniform is managed in-house wherever possible.

We aim to:

  • Keep costs reasonable
  • Offer practical and durable uniform options
  • Provide access to good-quality pre-loved items where available

 

Bursaries & Financial Support

SACGS offers a limited number of discretionary bursaries and support arrangements where appropriate.

These may contribute towards:

  • Pastoral support provision
  • Transitional support
  • Access to aspects of the SACGS environment
  • Individualised support arrangements

 

Bursaries are:

  • Discretionary and subject to availability
  • Considered on an individual basis
  • Time-limited and regularly reviewed
  • Applied to optional provision rather than core tuition fees

 

Families are encouraged to discuss individual circumstances confidentially with the Principal.
