At SACGS, our Sixth Form offers a highly personalised Post-16 provision designed to support academic progress, vocational development, independence and preparation for adulthood.
Our fee structure reflects the specialist nature of our provision, including small class sizes, flexible pathways, high levels of pastoral support and individualised learning programmes.
We are committed to clear and transparent communication so that families – and where applicable, Local Authorities – fully understand the provision and associated costs.
Sixth Form Fees
Years 12–13 | Academic Year 2026–2027
Tuition Fees
£3,850 per term (+ VAT where applicable)
Fees include core educational provision across academic, vocational and personalised Sixth Form pathways, including teaching, learning resources and timetabled support.
Fees are payable termly in advance or through an agreed monthly payment arrangement.
Food Provision
Breakfast & Lunch
£5.00 per day
Students have access to:
- Breakfast provision
- Nutritious daily lunch
- Structured support around routines and wellbeing
Transport
Optional Transport Provision
£1.95 per mile
Where practicable, flexible transport arrangements may be available depending on route viability and individual student needs. For students who drive, there is some available car-parking down the road opposite school, but please be aware of seasonal parking restrictions.
Enhanced Pastoral Support (Optional)
Additional Pastoral & Transitional Support
£1,500 per term
An enhanced pastoral package may be available for students requiring additional support with emotional wellbeing, engagement, anxiety, regulation or transition into adulthood.
Support may include:
- Regular mentoring and check-ins
- Emotional regulation support
- Structured independence and transition planning
- Individualised wellbeing strategies
- Increased liaison with families and external professionals
This provision is supplementary to the school’s standard pastoral support.
Examination Fees
External examination and accreditation fees are charged separately where applicable.
Typical costs include:
- A-Level and Level 3 qualifications: approximately £75 per subject although this does vary and is more for some subjects such as science. We charge cost plus a small administration fee.
- Vocational and specialist qualifications: charged at cost plus a small administration fee depending on awarding body and course requirements
All examination costs are communicated clearly in advance.
Educational Visits & Specialist Activities
Students benefit from a wide range of enrichment opportunities, work-based learning and educational experiences linked to their individual pathways.
Where possible, activities are incorporated within standard provision. However, occasional additional charges may apply for:
- Residential visits
- Specialist outdoor activities
- External providers or qualifications
- Off-site educational experiences
Any additional costs are communicated in advance.
Uniform & Equipment
Sixth Form students follow a practical and flexible dress code suitable for both classroom and experiential learning.
Some pathways, including outdoor and vocational provision, may require additional specialist clothing or equipment.
We aim to keep costs reasonable and pre-loved items may be available where appropriate.
Bursaries & Financial Support
SACGS may offer a limited number of discretionary bursaries or support awards where appropriate.
Support may be considered to assist with:
- Transition into Sixth Form
- Inclusion and accessibility
- Additional pastoral support
- Financial hardship or continuity of education
All bursary arrangements are discretionary, individually assessed and subject to availability.
Preparing for the Future
Our Sixth Form is designed to prepare young people not only for qualifications, but for adulthood, independence and meaningful future pathways.
Students leave SACGS with recognised qualifications, increased confidence, practical life skills and personalised progression routes into higher education, employment, apprenticeships or supported adulthood.
