Junior School Uniform (Reception – Year 6)

Our Junior School uniform is designed to be smart, practical and comfortable, supporting both learning and active school life. We prioritise independence, confidence and ease of wear, ensuring children feel ready for the day ahead.

✓ Everyday Uniform Options

Children may wear a combination of the following:

  • Navy polo shirt (SACGS branded)
  • Navy combat trousers (boys & girls)
  • OR royal blue kilt
  • Royal blue SACGS blazer (optional)
  • White shirt and school tie (optional, more formal option)
  • Navy SACGS hoodie or navy SACGS fleece (for warmth and comfort)
  • Navy trainers (black shoes also acceptable)
  • Navy socks / navy tights

 

🌊 Woodland & Beach Provision

  • SACGS Woodland & Beach coat (navy, waterproof)
  • Navy wellies or suitable outdoor footwear (when required)
  • Navy waterproof trousers (recommended for outdoor learning

 

Outdoor learning forms part of the Junior experience, so children should be prepared for all weather where applicable.

  • Navy SACGS branded polo shirt
  • Navy joggers, leggings or shorts
  • Navy trainers
  • White socks

 

❄️ Colder Weather

  • Navy coat (Woodland & Beach coat recommended)
  • SACGS bowler hat
  • Navy beanie / navy winter hat
  • Navy scarf and navy gloves
  • Additional navy layers (hoodie / fleece)
  • Navy waterproof trousers

 

☀️ Warmer Weather

  • Lightweight navy uniform options
  • Blue and white striped summer dress OR navy shorts
  • SACGS cap or traditional SACGS boater hat
  • Navy sun hat (recommended)

 

🎒 What to Bring Each Day

  • Named water bottle
  • School bag
  • Navy coat (appropriate to weather)

  • All items should be clearly labelled
  • Uniform is designed to support comfort, movement and independence
  • A range of pre-loved uniform is often available
  • School uniform is managed in-house, helping keep costs as low as possible
  • All uniform items are available throughout the year from our School Office – please email in advance
  • Families are also welcome to attend our annual Uniform Shop Days on 7th & 8th September 2026 (11am – 1pm)
