Transport at SACGS

At St Annes College Grammar School, we recognise that a calm, safe and reliable journey to school is fundamental to a successful day.

We provide a dedicated, door-to-door transport service operated by our own fleet of two minibuses and two school cars, serving families across the Fylde Coast and beyond. Our routes extend through Fleetwood, Thornton-Cleveleys, Poulton-le-Fylde, Blackpool, Bispham, Preston (including Lea Gate), Warton, Freckleton, Lytham, Garstang, Lancaster, Catterall, Kirkham, Wrea Green, Wesham, Southport and St Annes.

Every journey is carefully coordinated to ensure punctuality, comfort and continuity. Pupils are transported by trusted, fully vetted drivers who are well known to the school, creating a familiar and reassuring start and end to each day. Our door-to-door approach provides both convenience for families and an additional layer of safeguarding.

Recognising that many of our pupils travel significant distances, we offer all students a complimentary optional breakfast from 8:50am, allowing them to arrive settled, refreshed and ready to engage fully in school life.

Our service is intentionally flexible. Families may request transport, adjust regular travel arrangements, or arrange occasional journeys to suit individual needs.
