Simple, comfortable and designed for independence.

Our uniform is designed to be practical, comfortable and easy for young children to manage independently,whilst supporting outdoor learning, play and every day adventure.

At SACGS Nursery, we prioritise comfort, confidence and readiness for active learning – allowing children to move freely, explore confidently and fully enjoy our Woodland and Beach School experiences in every season.

✔️ Everyday Clothing

  • Navy polo shirt (SACGS branded where possible)
  • Navy joggers, leggings or soft trousers
  • Navy sweatshirt / hoodie (optional for layering)
  • Comfortable trainers (velcro preferred for independence)

 

🌊 Woodland & Beach Provision (Daily Use)

  • SACGS Woodland & Beach coat (navy, waterproof)
  • Wellies or waterproof outdoor boots
  • SACGS Puddlesuit provided when required (navy)

Children access outdoor provision daily, so suitable clothing is essential in all seasons.

❄️ Colder Weather Essentials

  • Navy coat (Woodland & Beach coat preferred)
  • Hat, scarf and gloves (navy, clearly labelled)
  • Warm layers (SACGS navy hoodie or fleece)

☀️ Warmer Weather

  • Lightweight navy clothing
  • Blue and white striped summer dress
  • Sun hat / cap (navy)
  • Sun cream (applied before school; named bottle may be kept in school if required)

 

🎒 What to Bring Each Day

  • Spare clothes (including underwear)
  • Nappies / wipes (if required)
  • Water bottle (named)

 

🌿 Key Information

  • All items should be clearly labelled
  • Clothing should be easy to change independently
  • Comfort and practicality are prioritised over formality
  • Pre-loved uniform is often available to support families (email our school office)

Purchasing Nursery Uniform

All Nursery Uniform items are available through our in-house SACGS Uniform Store. Families can:

  • Request uniform information through the School Office
  • Attend our uniform days on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th September 2026 from 11am – 1pm
  • Our staff team will be happy to support families with sizing, ordering and uniform guidance.
