A Day in the Life

Every day at SACGS Nursery is carefully planned to balance learning, play, exploration and wellbeing within a calm and nurturing environment.

Our routines help children feel secure and confident, while providing plenty of opportunities for curiosity, creativity and joyful discovery throughout the day.

Our children are encouraged to explore, investigate, imagine and develop friendships within a safe and supportive environment where every child is known and valued.

We believe young children learn best when they feel happy, secure and excited to discover the world around them – and every day at SACGS Nursery is designed with this in mind.

No two days are ever exactly the same, but a typical Nursery day may include:

• A warm and welcoming start to help children settle happily into the day
• Child-led play and exploration through continuous provision
• Short, engaging adult-led activities to build early skills and confidence
• Outdoor learning, Woodland & Beach School experiences and garden play
• Music, singing, movement and specialist sessions including Italian and PE
• Story time, role play and language-rich activities
• Creative experiences such as art, cooking and sensory play
• Snack and social times that encourage independence and conversation
• Calm routines that support emotional wellbeing and confidence
